What is the Medical Volunteer Program?

The MVP of Riverside County supports the Riverside County Emergency Response System.

The Riverside County unit is community-based and functions to locally organize and utilize volunteers. When a public health emergency occurs, the need for volunteers will be tremendous. MVP will be used to supplement existing re- sources when a disaster is of a magnitude that overwhelms existing resources.
